Nouhaillaguet Returns to Action in Gruissan

For his trip to Granada, Aviron Gruissanais will have the return of their third row and captain Flavien Nouhaillaguet who has just finished his three match ban after starting the season late. “I had to have an operation on one leg. The operation should have been done in March but we preferred to postpone it until the end of the season so that I could participate in the final stages I’m happy to be back competing, to bring my experience but I’m not going to change the team by myself, obviously. I lack rhythm with it this ban, I couldn’t continue as I wanted to make up for this red card”.

Originally from Grenoble, Nouhaillaguet created a surprise by signing for Gruissan. In fact, his past in Grenoble (Top 14), 5 years in Aurillac and 4 years in Narbonne, was not a priority for him towards the sea club. “President Jean-Pierre Grand contacted me and wanted to meet me. He very quickly understood what I expected in terms of my training. He wants to stay here”.

The third row from Gruissan, the follower of Isitolo Maka, the number 8 at Stade Toulousain, with his devastating charges, is not worried about the start of the season. “We knew the field was tougher than last year and that there had been a lot of changes in the off-season with the departure of some executives and the arrival of a new coach ahead of the that, the schedule was not in our favor with three times in the first four games”.

This last trip of the year to Granada should be a reference back in the right direction. “This game is important against a team that is not easy to move, with a big forward pack”.
