Manchester City, the defending champions, wasted two points and lost their lead in the English Premier League, with a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, the owner of the land, today, Saturday.
Bernardo Silva advanced with a goal for City with a missile from outside the penalty area in the 41st minute.
Although City dominated the game, Chris Wood, who joined from Newcastle United last month, equalized for the landlord in the 84th minute.
City needed to win to regain the summit, after Arsenal’s exciting 4-2 victory over Aston Villa earlier today, but now it has 52 points from 24 games and ranks second, two points behind the summit.
Arsenal has 54 points from 23 matches and has one game in arrears.
