The Jewish Museum Vienna, a museum of Wien Holding, will be showing the exhibition The Third Generation: The Holocaust in Family MemoryThe exhibition is dedicated for the first time to the grandchildren’s generation of Holocaust survivors and compares the way in which they deal with the trauma they have inherited with that of the second generation. It highlights the different ways in which subsequent generations deal with their family history and illustrates the effects of the Shoah on their respective lives and identities. In addition to historical objects, artistic discussions and memorabilia are on display.
