The filming of the next season of “16 weeks of hell” has already started, and more of it celebrities of the year already experienced the strict training and diet method of the presenters Martin Johnsrud Sundby (40) and Anette Skarpaas Ramm (44).
Among this year’s participants is the artist Petter Bjørklund Kristiansen (35) – better known by his stage name “Katastrofe”.

The 35-year-old has previously tried to take steps to improve his health, but after a week or two of healthy habits he usually ended up slipping back into old habits.
He describes taking part in “16 weeks of hell” as a “kick in the ass”, and raves about the extra motivation it gave him.
– It’s wonderful to work, and to be able to test a different way of life than sitting in a pub. I clock my hours in a pub chair myself, so it’s good to be able to try something else, Kristiansen told Nettavisen.
Sleeping much better
Kristiansen is now in the seventh week of registration, and already feels a difference. In one area in particular, he is aware of significant change:
Sleep.
– I notice how well you sleep without alcohol. It’s great to wake up in the morning and be completely clear in your head. It’s really tasty, says Kristiansen.
Awakening has clearly added flavor, and Kristiansen has now bought one

And with more and better sleep, he quickly noticed the other health differences that accompany it. His energy level in particular has been completely different since he switched to a healthier lifestyle.
– I sleep much better, but I also wake up much earlier. I woke up today restless like a horse and I couldn’t sleep anymore, so I went for a forty minute walk at five past seven in the morning before dawn. That’s how sick the world has become, laughs Kristiansen.
Harder to keep on tour
Kristiansen spoke in a positive sense only about participating in the lifestyle program, but nevertheless he admits that it is not just happiness to completely change one’s lifestyle.
– There is a reason why it is called “16 weeks of hell” and of course, these are very heavy sessions and they really bring you down in the basement. But this is also the kick I feel I need to be able to make changes, he says.

The changes themselves, however, have not been the biggest problem for Kristiansen, who has always enjoyed cooking, going for walks and lifting weights.
The biggest problem for him – like many others – is finding time for everything in an otherwise busy everyday life.
– The most challenging thing is to squeeze in the session every day. It happens that it boils a little in everyday life and that it is a travel day. But fortunately, it is very calm with performances going on, says the artist.

Fortunately for Kristiansen, he has had great support from his band, who have helped him through the busiest times.
– My band has “come on” on this trip and it’s pushing me. If there is an hour and a half to a concert, they can say: “come on, we’ll make it to the top before then”. So then we’ve got in some training sessions on tour, he laughs.
Hope it continues
This year’s participants are not even halfway through the program, but Kristiansen has already started planning what he will do when it’s over.
He is sure to continue the healthy lifestyle.
– I certainly hope to continue with this when the program is over. As I do with everything else, I take it day by day, but I’m going to be mad at myself if my main motivation on the day we end up hitting on the pole.

However, he will not be able to continue in the same style. Instead, he aims to find the golden mean.
– It doesn’t have to be as extreme as it is now, but at least getting in 3-4 sessions a week and eating healthier, I hope to continue , Kristiansen explains.
