As you know, a few years ago Carl Pei left the ranks of OnePlus and founded his own brand, Nothing. In the summer of 2023, the Nothing Phone (2) smartphone was introduced under this brand, which was aimed at the sub-flagship segment. Now the company is thinking about releasing a middle-class device – it will be a smartphone called Nothing Phone (2a). The device has already passed a number of certifications, which indicates an imminent release. Here’s everything we know about the model.
Characteristics of Nothing Phone (2a)
Nothing Phone (2a) has model number A142. The smartphone will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset and at least two memory options: 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB or 12/256 GB drive. The battery capacity has not yet been disclosed, but the fast charging power is already known – 45 W.
As for cameras, Nothing Phone (2a) will be equipped with a round module with two lenses located horizontally. The resolution of the main sensor will be 50 MP. The main feature of Nothing Phone in the form of LED backlighting on the rear panel will remain in place. It is also known that the smartphone will be offered in two colors: white and black.
