Nothing Phone (1) turned out to be a well-made and efficient device, which is characterized by a very original and minimalist user interface. This is complemented by an excellent 120 Hz OLED screen, long battery life and a pretty decent price.

The warm reception of this device by reviewers and users themselves made the manufacturer decide to launch the next iteration of Nothing Phone, which will premiere in 2023.

Nothing Phone (2) is supposed to be more “premium”. What do we know about him?

A few days ago, Carl Pei, the head of the Nothing brand, announced that that the company’s new smartphone will be much more “premium” than its predecessor. What does this mean in practice? According to the information obtained by the MySmartPrice service, the Nothing Phone (2) will receive the following specification:

  • – AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate;
  • – a new chip from the Snapdragon 8 series
  • – 12 GB RAM
  • – 256GB user memory
  • – battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh

As for the processor used, it can be presumed that we are talking about the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2which included, among others, on board the latest Samsung Galaxy S23. As for the display, it seems to be a LTPO panel with a variable refresh rate.

If all these leaks turn out to be true, we can expect a very strong smartphone that will compete with flagships in terms of specifications. The question is, how will this translate into the final price of the device?
