Nothing found during a police action in Haagse bos, at Paleis Huis ten Bosch

The Haagse Bos in The Hague has been evacuated after a suspicious situation was reported. Officers have entered the forest, but nothing has been found, the police report on Twitter. In the meantime, the sales tapes have been removed again.

A police helicopter hung for some time above the Haagse Bos. Images showed members of an arrest team entering the forest.

The Haagse Bos is also home to Huis ten Bosch Palace, the residential palace of King Willem-Alexander and his family. Before it was clear that nothing had been found, the Government Information Service announced that the safety of the king and his family was not at stake.

Bee The Hague FM said someone who was in the forest before the eviction that she was sent away by marechaussees. “You have to leave now, we don’t know why”, they were said to have been told.
