“Nothing Compares” premiered at the Film Fest Gent: documentary on Sinéad O’Connor, “the singer who literally turned her career upside down”

The show’s many viewers, both at home and in the studio, held their breath when the Irish singer snatched a photo of Pope John Paul II on stage. “Fight the real enemy,” she added. “In 1992 Sinéad actually ripped her own career. But was she sorry? She never wanted that career. The whole film develops up to this point and offers an explanation,” says Lieven Van Gils.
