Notes from the Reds in Freiburg

Even in the fifth game of the season in the third division, the Würzburger Kickers did not manage to win. At SC Freiburg II, the team of coach Torsten Ziegner lost 0: 1 (0: 0). A lot of things work well on the defensive, but everyone disappoints in the front. The individual review.

Hendrik Bonmann (shirt number 1)

Ungrateful game for the keeper. Got little on his box, but still had to swallow the goal. Partly unclean in its feeds. Note: 3,5

Leon Schneider (5)

One of the better ones in Freiburg. Did his job on the right defensive side satisfactorily, also dared a few trips forward. Note: 3

Lars Dietz (4)

At first he played uncertainly and served directly for Petersen with his head – without any consequences. Stabilized out the back. Note: 3,5

Tobias Kraulich (6)

It played a big part in the fact that the Kickers didn’t lag behind earlier. Another support in the Ziegner team. Note: 3

Robert Herrmann (38)

An appearance with light and shadow: often tried it on the outside, but had many technical errors in his game. Too imprecise on his free kick. Note: 4

David Kopacz (29)

Had the best chance on the foot but put the ball on the side netting. Otherwise poisonous in the duels, committed to the front, but always unlucky. Note: 3,5

Niklas Hoffmann (3)

Satisfactory against the ball, but without ideas when it comes to building up the game. There has to be more. Note: 4

Fanol Perdedaj (20)

Basically the same applies to him as to Hoffmann: won important duels, acted forward without ideas. Note: 4

Moritz Heinrich (21)

Had to leave the field after an hour, Ziegner couldn’t be satisfied with his performance. Too sedate, too harmless. Note: 4,5

Dildar Atmaca (17)

Was preferred to Vladimir Nikolov and is making his debut in professional football. Seemed overwhelmed and rightly had to go down after 63 minutes. Note: 4,5

Saliou Sané (11)

Completely ineffective on the offensive. The support for the colleagues, still his trump card against Osnabrück, didn’t work at all in Breisgau. Note: 5

Dennis Waidner (2)

Took over as a trained full-back for Perdedaj in the center. Did a good job there. Without a note

Alexander Lungwitz (26)

Came for Heinrich and radiated more danger. Hung up for Kopacz in the 69th minute. Without a note

Vladimir Nikolov (8)

Replaced Atmaca but remained completely invisible. Not a dangerous action. Without a note

Ryan Adigo (37)

Came ten minutes before the final whistle for Sané and had an action: It went way past the gate. Without a note

Christian Strohdiek (32)

Had been sent to the field for Herrmann in the final minutes. Had a good chance with the last action of the game but Atubolu was there. Without a note
