Open cultural places
For individual visits open premises of libraries, museums and related art and history exhibition places – storage and exposition of museum objects, art galleries, cultural centers, memorial places, archives and other cultural places.
For the gradual resumption of work on this cultural site from 3 June Ministry of Culture (KM) has developed and published guidelines for epidemiologically safe operations; the doors of the cultural site will be opened for individual visits as soon as they are ready to comply with the guidelines.
Gathering
Hereinafter one household will be allowed to visit at the other household, up to 10 people can be indoors, but up to 20 people can be gathered privately outside, on Tuesday, June 1, the government decided.
Additional Ministry of Health The draft regulations submitted to the Government (VM) provide for the deletion of the words “in urgent cases” from the current conditions for holding funeral and baptismal ceremonies, which means that people will be able to plan more for these important ceremonies.
Large shopping centers
On Tuesday, the government decided to lift the operating restrictions on large shopping centers and the organization of street trade – fairs, while maintaining all the conditions of the concept of safe trade, informed Ministry of Economics (IN).
In turn, from the entry into force of these amendments to the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers, the previous restrictions are lifted and face-to-face sales in large shopping centers can be resumed by all stores, observing the established epidemiological safety measures.
The exemptions take effect the day after their publication in the official publication “Latvijas Vēstnesis”, where they were published on June 1.
Funeral
Day of remembrance (funeral) services can be organized outdoors by implementing the following epidemiological safety and precautionary measures: mouth and nose masks are used at the place of worship, in the cemetery and in the adjacent area; observe a distance of not less than two meters; Up to 10 people from two households can gather around family or family cemeteries, depending on the distance from the other people.
The relevant religious organization, in cooperation with the cemetery operator, ensures the observance of epidemiological safety and precautionary requirements, as well as organizes and controls the flow of people at the place of worship. Information on epidemiological safety and precautionary requirements is placed at the place of worship, i. sk. distance and the use of mouth and nose pads.
On-site entrance examinations
On-site entrance examinations (for a maximum of 10 persons) for admission to formal education programs at primary and secondary level, as well as at higher education level in study programs where the entrance examination includes a practical part and cannot be implemented remotely.
Those present inside and outside the entrance examination room shall use mouth and nose guards and shall observe a distance of two meters.
The organizer of the entrance examination provides an opportunity to take the entrance examination within the specified additional period for persons who cannot participate in the entrance examination, because due to Covid-19 infection they are in quarantine or isolation and it can be documented.
To participate in the on-site entrance examination, individuals have been tested for Covid-19 in the last 72 hours prior to the entrance examination and have tested negative. The Covid-19 test may not be performed by individuals who can document that they have been infected with SARS CoV-2 in the last three months and no longer pose a risk of infection to others. The Covid-19 test is not performed by individuals who can document that they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 infection.
