Note, These 4 Cheap Fruits Are Efficacious To Whiten Teeth Naturally

JAKARTA, iNews.id – Having white and healthy teeth is everyone’s dream. White teeth are not only healthy, but also can support your appearance, especially if you smile.

However, there are times when the color of the teeth changes over time. The causes also vary, namely smoking habits, rarely brushing teeth, and often consuming foods or drinks that make teeth yellow.

Some foods and drinks that cause yellow teeth include red wine, coffee and tea, carbonated drinks, fruit light-colored, and candy. However, on the other hand, there are foods that naturally whiten teeth. The price of these fruits is also still pocket-friendly, around Rp. 15,000-Rp. 30,000 per fruit.

These foods are in the form of fruits that contain certain substances to whiten teeth. What fruit? Check out the list as summarized from Healthline, reported Tuesday (1/6/2021)

Strawberry
In the first order there are strawberries. This tiny, red fruit contains malic acid which has the property of helping to lighten stained teeth. Malic acid can also increase saliva production which in turn protects teeth from decay, a common cause of tooth discoloration.

Watermelon
Next there is watermelon which also contains malic acid. Watermelon is known to have more malic acid than strawberries. Malic acid is what plays a role in brightening teeth and increasing saliva production.

Pineapple
The next is pineapple. This fruit can dissolve the pellicle naturally. Pineapple contains a proteolytic enzyme called bromelain to break down proteins, including those in your pellicle lining. Pallicles are a protein coat of saliva that not only protects teeth, but also absorbs pigment from food.

Papaya
Just like pineapple, papaya also contains proteolytic enzymes. The enzyme in papaya is called papain which also breaks down protein and degrades your pellicle lining. This is what helps reduce stains and protects teeth from plaque formation.
Good luck!
