“The members of Together for Change want to say that we are calm, because we believe in the moral integrity of Darío and we trust that Justice will demonstrate that he is innocent,” reads the letter in its second paragraph, after explaining what happened in the house of Grandchild.
Along these lines, the document accuses the government of wanting “to thin the political climate while society is distressed by the pandemic,” and notes that the government seeks to achieve “impunity for former officials prosecuted or convicted of corruption.”
“From the beginning of the year, Kirchnerism sought in every possible way to judicially involve former Cambiemos officials in causes of corruption. But it found nothing, for the simple reason that our government was transparent and honest,” the statement continues.
And he concludes: “As always, we believe in the Rule of Law and we will collaborate with the Justice in whatever is necessary, beyond any abuse or misrepresentation of the truth. And we trust that justice will finally be done.”
In its first version, the statement had the suggestive absence of Maria Eugenia Vidal Among its signatories, one of the leaders who would have been a victim of the network of Macrista espionage. However, minutes later, the Together for Change account added the heading of the former Buenos Aires president.
