Good news from the corona corner: there are the corona pills, an extra weapon against this cursed virus. Merck MSD’s will be deployed this month, and Pfizer’s will also be deployed next month. “And there are still some in the pipeline,” says virologist Johan Neyts. But, we must be honest: they are not the miracle cures that will immediately put an end to the pandemic. “Although they do lower the chance of death or serious covid, and they have one big advantage over the other weapons.”
