You will have quickly noticed it if you watched the Red Devils match in Ireland this Saturday, our stars were missing at kick-off. For this confrontation and the one that awaits our national team on Tuesday against Burkinao Faso, Roberto Martinez had decided to only take on players with less than 50 caps on the clock. Several inmates of the selection therefore took advantage of these few days of rest to travel or simply have a good time with the family.
Romelu Lukaku crossed the Atlantic to spend a few days in New York and Miami. He notably attended the NBA meeting between the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets. The Chelsea striker also reunited with an old acquaintance from Anderlecht, the Moroccan Mbark Boussoufa.
On his side, Kevin De Bruyne traveled to Paris with his spouse Michèle Lacroix and a few friends.
The last bastion of the Devils and Real Madrid Thibaut Courtois meanwhile took off with his companion Mischel for a sunny destination.
Recently qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League with his club Benfica, Jan Vertonghen spent a family weekend in the Portuguese city of Évora.
