Playstation Studios CEO Hermen Hulst says in a new interview on Playstations blog that it is not guaranteed that the upcoming Playstation 5 big game Horizon Forbidden West will have time to be released in 2021 as previously planned.
“Regarding Horizon, I think we are about to release it for Christmas. But it is not entirely certain yet, and we are working hard to confirm it as soon as possible,” says Herman Hulst.
What the uncertainty is due to is unknown. Developer Guerrilla Games recently unveiled 14 minutes of Horizon Forbidden West’s playability at a May 27 Playstation event.
Recently it became clear that another big game for Playstation 5, God of War: Ragnarök will not be released until 2022.
