KOMPAS.com– A forensic psychologist testifies at the Johnny Depp vs . trial Amber Heard on Tuesday (26/4/2022). The psychologist said Amber Heard suffers from two personality disorders.
According to Shannon Curry, a psychologist hired by Johnny Depp’s legal team, Amber suffers from borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder.
“Heard’s evaluation results support two diagnoses: borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder,” Shannon said.

Shannon got her diagnosis during a 12-hour interview with Heard, as well as reviewing her mental health record.
Coupled with in-person examinations on two occasions, and participation in the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) test.
In her statement, Shannon said borderline personality disorder represented an unstable personality, wary of rejection, with little access to self-regulation.
“Characterized by a lot of anger, cruelty towards people who are less powerful, cares about image, seeks attention and tends to blame outsiders, a lot of suppressed anger may explode outward,” says Shannon.

According to her, borderline personality disorder “appears to be a predictive factor for women who are violent towards their partners.”
Anyone who attempts an intimate relationship with such a personality, says Curry, is likely to go from “idolized to trash can”.
“That’s a hallmark of borderline personality,” says Shannon.
