VIVA – According to GLOBOCAN 2020 data, cervical cancer is cancer that happens to girls second largest in Indonesia. There are 36,633 cases of cervical cancer in Indonesia and it has killed 57 Indonesian women every day.
This figure has increased by almost 15 percent from 2018. This means that more than 21 thousand families in Indonesia are abandoned by mothers, daughters or wives each year because of cervical cancer.
“Cervical cancer is a disease that occurs in the neck rahim or cervix. Cervical cancer is not contagious, the contagious one is the virus, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus).
