Air ticket price increased dramatically due to the increase in the price of avtur fuel. Therefore, users of air transportation modes must spend more if they want to travel, especially abroad.

Chairperson of the DPP Association of Indonesian Travel Agents (Astindo) Pauline Suharno said a number of international flight routes had increased, such as those from Singapore to South Korea (South Korea). To a number of European countries also had the same fate.

“To Singapore one way with a low cost of IDR 3-5 million, so that round trips reach IDR 6-10 million, even though in the past the return ticket with a full service carrier was only IDR 2-3 million before the pandemic,” said Pauline.

For the purpose of South Korea one way using Garuda Indonesia aircraft reaches Rp. 9,912,100, while Seoul-Jakarta is Rp. 6,928,000 with Scoot aircraft. That way the PP Jakarta-South Korea ticket reaches Rp. 16,840,100. “Korea PP in June was Rp 12 million, whereas in the past it was only Rp 6-8 million,” he said.
