BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID, BANJARMASIN – Not only the Sinovac type vaccine, the Banjarmasin Health Service (Dinkes) apparently now also provides services for a new type of Covid-19 vaccine, namely Pfizer.
Even the vaccine service produced by German biotechnology in collaboration with US pharmaceutical companies has been carried out since the beginning of this week.
“Yes, we have provided the first dose of vaccine service for the Pfizer vaccine,” said the Head of Banjarmasin Health Office, Machli Riyadi.
Machli explained that the Pfizer vaccine was an assistance provided by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes).

“And we get as many as 37 thousand doses, for the first and second doses,” he said.
Machli explained that Pfizer’s vaccination services can also be obtained through health centers or in hospitals Banjarmasin Health Office.
“Because this is also distributed to health centers,” he explained.
As with other types of vaccines, Machli also explained that the person receiving the first and second doses of Pfizer must be the same.
“The first dose of vaccine and both must be the same Pfizer. And this is up to 87 percent effectiveness,” he said.

Regarding how long the Pfizer vaccine stock is targeted to be injected to the residents of Banjarmasin, Machli also said as soon as possible.
