KOMPAS.com – The government has decided the new name Nusantara as the nation’s capital (IKN) Indonesia, which is planned to move to Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan.

Various preparations and socialization efforts are being carried out, including land acquisition and a number of supporting regulations.

On the other hand, people are talking about moving again new nation’s capital this, especially in the virtual world.

Public opinion and experts still seem divided, because many of them think that moving the capital city from Jakarta to the archipelago will only widen the problem.

However, there are also those who are still optimistic that the new capital city will lead to a more equitable development direction in Indonesia.

In other parts of the world, there are several countries that have had the experience of moving their capital cities as well as their seat of government.
