Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – a discovery gold mountain in the village of Luhihi, South Kivu Province, the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa, are excited. This is because the gold content in the mountain soil reaches 90%.
As a result, many residents flocked there to scoop gold. In a video that went viral on social media, residents were seen dredging the ground with shovels and collecting soil into a container. On the other hand, there were also residents who were digging with their bare hands.
South Kivu Mines Minister Venant Burume stated that this discovery actually dates back to the end of February. Not long after the discovery, many people, including the Congolese armed forces (FARDC), came to the site trying to find the gold.
