JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Some people do not realize that there are two types of Pertamina Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU). The two types of gas stations can be seen from the color of the screen.
Most Pertamina gas stations use a red color board. But lately blue color boards have started to appear.
At first glance, the two gas stations are similar, but there are differences between the two.
Pertamina MOR III Communication & CSR Unit Manager, Dewi Sri Utami, said that the red gas station is Pertamina Pasti Pas gas station, while the blue one is Pertamina Pasti Prima gas station.
“In physical appearance, the gas station must have a blue totem / board and must have a red board,” said Dewi, quoting from Kompas.com, (22/3/2021).
Another difference is that the Pasti Pas SPBU was launched in 2006, while the Pasti Prima SPBU is a development of the Pasti Pas SPBU since 2015.

In terms of facilities, the Pasti Pas gas station is supported by standard facilities, such as places of worship, tolets, filling of air to minimarkets at several points.
The Pasti Prima gas station is almost the same as the Pasti Pas. The difference is in additional facilities, such as ATMs, cafes, workshops, food courts, sales of lubricants or LPG, nitrogen, to fast food restaurants.
This additional facility is referred to as non-fuel retail offered by PT Pertamina Retail or other parties.
