Morten Ramm (43) and Martin Sleipnes (36) strongly dissociate themselves from Bernt Hulsker’s (44) behavior.

In Friday’s episode of the VG podcast “Easy serving” Morten Ramm and Martin Sleipnes break the silence about Bernt Hulsker. Hulsker has previously been a regular presenter in the podcast together with Ramm and Sleipnes.
– Before we move on to today’s menu, we must talk about Bernt. Of course, many of you listeners are asking where he has gone. Bernt has posted a post on Instagram. There have also been a number of cases in the media lately – and that is obviously why Bernt is not here, says Sleipnes.
On Thursday, the doorman at the nightclub told Sing More TV 2 on the evening of March 9, when Bernt Hulsker was at a job party.
Hulsker has even apologized for his behavior that night.
The doorman, Jwan Rasho, told TV 2 that he has reported Hulsker after the incident. The case has been transferred to the hate crime group in the Oslo police district, and Hulsker will be questioned.
– Such behavior – as you say Morten – it is obviously not okay at all. So simple, says Sleipnes in the podcast.
Morten Ramm tells VG that it is sad:
– And it is important to address such incidents. I was not at the party myself, but when that happens, it helps to keep unacceptable attitudes alive, for whatever reason.
VG has been in contact with Hulsker’s manager Vilde Kristine Darvik who says they do not want to comment on the case.
–Ramm says he has received messages on Instagram about why he himself has not commented on the case.
– I think it is a difficult topic to talk about – both on podcasts and not least defend why I do not saber, beheads him in public. It is difficult. But since I do not say anything, they put me in the same booth – and put me in the same category – and I think that’s a bit awkward.
He says he has also been an “idiot” in drunkenness, but has never exposed people to the same thing that Hulsker is supposed to have done.
– There is nothing more to say. It has nothing to do with us, says Ramm.
– We have chosen to solve it in the way we have done it, says Sleipnes.
He adds that the case is handled internally.

On Thursday afternoon, TV 2 wrote that Hulsker is going in for questioning and that he is accused, among other things, of racist remarks.
– Victims have been questioned by the police and the case is under investigation as hate speech according to the Penal Code § 185. What I can say about the investigation is that i.a. It is natural to question witnesses who have been present at the incident and suspects in the case. Beyond this, I do not want to go further into specific investigative steps, says police attorney Marianne Aune to VG.
VG has been in contact with the doorman Jwan Rasho, who does not want to comment further on the case.
Hulsker answered TV 2 via his manager Vilde Kristine Darvik:
“What I did was awful, and I can not even see myself in the mirror. The consequences have been, and are, great. Rightly. I sought help the day after the incident and have not been to work since. I hope that in time I can show people who I really am and what values I have. If it takes a long time, I understand and accept it, but maybe it never happens. Then I accept it too. “
VGTV director Thomas Manus Hønningstad confirms to TV 2 that there was an episode at the nightclub that led to the evening ending, and that the case is handled internally.
“On a general basis, such behavior and vocabulary as TV 2 describes is completely unacceptable, so if something like this happens, we take it very seriously and handle it internally.”
