jpnn.com, JAKARTA – PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) asked the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta to immediately detail the strict large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) policy announced by Governor Anies Baswedan a few days ago.
Head of the Marketing Division of PT Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operations, Hendrayadi Lastiyoso, assessed that such a policy would have an impact on thousands of employees and operations.
Not just assembly plants, but dealers, workshops and offices will have an impact.
Hendrayadi said that in principle Daihatsu always supported decisions from the central government and the DKI Jakarta government regarding the PSBB policy, but ADM needed an explanation.
“Of course we support it because whatever the decision is, it has been through careful calculation and it is definitely the decision that is considered the best,” Hendrayadi said during a virtual video press conference, Friday (11/9).
“We just found out Wednesday night, Mr. Anies said that the PSBB would be strict. Last Thursday we waited until the afternoon what the Pergub was like but there was no one,” he continued.
According to Hendrayadi, the party wanted to know the explanation from the Provincial Government because there were still many questions that had not been answered in Anies’ statement last Wednesday.
“The problem is we want to know more,” he explained.
