Jose Mourinho, the current coach of Tottenham Hotspur, believes that the Brazilian phenomenon Ronaldo is superior to both Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
The Brazilian player previously played for Real Madrid and Barcelona, and won the World Cup twice, and won the Golden Ball Award (Balloon Role) twice in the years (1997-2002).
“Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi have a longer football career than Ronaldo, they have kept the summit for 15 years,” Mourinho told LiveScore.
The Portuguese coach continued: “But if we were going to talk about talent and skill, nobody beats Ronaldo Nazario, when he was in Barcelona with Bobby Robson, I realized that he is the best player I have ever seen.”
The current Spurs coach added: “He was killed by injuries, he could have become a unique player, I did not believe the talent he had when he was 19 years old.”
It is worth noting that Ronaldo played for the Spanish clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid, as he defended the jerseys of the Italian and Inter Milan clubs before he finished his football career with the Brazilian Corinthians.
