Otomotifnet.com – All New Honda Vario 160 comes with 2 variants, namely ABS and CBS. So what’s the difference between the two?
The details of the differences between these two variants are quite a lot, not only in the braking system, but also in other parts.
The most different is the brakes, the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, even the front disc has a diameter of 220 mm.
While the CBS (Combined Brake System) variant is a disc type with only front brakes, while the rear brakes are still drum models like the Vario 150.
And specifically for the CBS variant, it is still equipped with the Parking Brake Lock feature, which of course does not have ABS.
The next difference is in weight, the ABS is 2 kg heavier than the CBS, 117 kg and 115 kg to be exact.
This is of course related to the number of additional components to support the ABS feature, one of which is the ABS modulator which is located in front of the komstir.
The emblem is also different, the ABS version is more classy with the use of a 3D logo, while the CBS version only uses stickers.
And what is also different is of course the price, Vario 160 ABS is IDR 28.5 million, while the CBS one is more affordable, only IDR 25.8 million (OTR Jakarta).
