KOMPAS.com – Free Fire or FF is one of game battle royale which is popular in Asia, such as in India and Indonesia.
In this game there are various terms that are often spoken by players. Not a few of these terms can not be said carelessly, because it is part of the strategy of the game.
One of the terms that are familiar to the ears of FF players is Booyah. This term is often used by players to express their pride because they have succeeded in being one of the players or squads that survived until the end of the game.
Besides Booyah, there are many other terms that are often used and spoken by FF players. So, what are the popular terms in the game? Free Fire?

- Booyah: a player or squad victory that managed to survive until the game session ended.
- AFK (Away From Keyboard): a condition when the player is leaving the game, even though the game is in a state online.
- Knock down: a condition when a player is dying and is no longer fighting.
- HS (Headshot): an accurate shot that hits the enemy’s head.
- Blue Zone: an insecure zone located outside of the safe zone. Players in the blue zone will receive continuous damage.
- Green Zone: an area that is in a safe zone and can be explored by players.
- Red Zone: a dangerous area that is being bombarded with bombs from the air.
- Looting: the activity of collecting various types of items, such as armor, weapons, helmets, bullets, and so on.
- Airdrop: a box containing various types of rare items that can help players win the game.
- Camping: an action when the player chooses to wait at a certain location until an enemy arrives.
- Campfire: an item that can be used to replenish a character’s Energy Point (EP).
- Rush: a strategy to directly attack the opponent.
- Flank: strategy to ambush the enemy.
- Sandwich: a condition in which the player is being ambushed by multiple opponents from various directions.
- HP (Health Point): the player’s “life” indicator. HP is marked with a green bar icon.
- EP (Energy Point): additional armor indicator that can increase HP power. EP is temporary and decreases periodically.
- Knock down: a condition when the player is dying and can no longer fight.
- Revive: activity to restore friends who are in a state of knock down.
- Heal: the process of restoring HP that has been depleted due to the opponent’s attack.
- Boosting: a process to increase armor durability using items such as
- Cheater: the name given to players who play cheating.
- Skins: costumes that can be used by characters or weapons.
- Pet: virtual pet, part of in-game accessories.
- High Ground: a safe position to spy on the enemy from a high angle, such as from rooftops and mountains.
- Low Ground: the location where players go to escape from the battle location.
