Mitsubishi Xpander must be satisfied in the distended position of the 10 best-selling cars in Indonesia. On the internal side of Mitsubishi, Xpander is still the bestseller of other Mitsubishi car line-ups.
The best-selling car in Indonesia in February 2021 is also different. If last year the Honda Brio became the best-selling car in Indonesia, in February 2021 Daihatsu GranMax (a combination of minibuses and pickups) won the throne of the best-selling car in Indonesia.
Sales of Daihatsu Granmax and Honda Brio are narrowly adrift. However, the Honda Brio was displaced from the top position of the best-selling car in February 2021.
Gaikindo’s wholesales data noted that 4,194 units of Daihatsu Granmax were shipped. Meanwhile, the Honda Brio (RS and Satya) is in the second position narrowly adrift, with only 4,173 units.
In third place is the Suzuki Carry with sales of 3,327 units. Then followed by the Toyota Kijang Innova with a distribution of 3,123 units. And Toyota Calya closed the top five with 2,780 units.
While the Toyota Avanza, which before 2020 always subscribed to the best-selling car, was thrown quite far. In February 2021, the Toyota Avanza only sold 1,921 units. The MPV, nicknamed the car of a million people, occupies the ninth position in the list of best-selling cars in February 2021.
And the competitor of the Toyota Avanza, Mitsubishi Xpander is underneath it. The Mitsubishi Xpander (including the Xpander Cross) sold 1,764 units, occupying the position of the 10 best-selling cars in Indonesia February 2021.
