An interesting and practically unknown technical monument is located near Novho Knno, about 35 kilometers away from Prague. These are the ruins of the former gold mine Libice, which is located on the nature trail Koz hory. The remains of brick and concrete long buildings stand on the edge of the forest and are and unexpectedly spread out.

The ruins of the engine room, compressor room and substation in the now-forgotten area are overgrown with lush greenery. Several houses in the complex currently also serve as cottages.

However, you can shorten the circuit along the low-traffic road from Draetice to the Na Zlatnici crossroads, where you can park. Such a route is only five kilometers long and is also suitable for corks, the road from the mine to the pink under the Hoice hill would be quite engraved from the shine.
Gold was mined in the region from the Middle Ages and the first area near Libice, called as Star and Mlad Kamlov, was the richest in the vicinity of Knno. Count Silva Tarouca, among others the owner of the Prhonice estate, started the modern day in the second decade of the 20th century.
According to the tourist information board, in 1913 and 1925 8661 tons of ore were mined from the mine and 25 kilograms of gold were recovered. He gave an interesting town on the route located about 200 meters from the gold mine dl uphill in the direction of Draetice. In the forest there is a pink pink sign marked with an information board. These are vt i men krtery po mededovk tb. In the 1980s, two exploratory wells were drilled there.
