Not everyone is Steve Jobs

He Silicon Valley Bank bankruptcy, taking away the financing and capital of many of the most advanced or at least most referenced technology companies in world technology. Or so we believe and so the marketing of the American dream tells us.

Bad management by the bank managers of that entity, that seems to be under investigation, and a slow and inappropriate financial response did the rest.

I do not go into the economic aspects because others more competent already do it. Meanwhile, a small tsunami invades Europe and sweeps away the paradigm bank Swiss credit, number two of the always singular and strange Swiss bank. Nothing to do with the healthy Spanish bank, which has already had its particular reconversion. Without them, without the Spanish financial institutions, many companies would not exist.

We are living difficult times. Where very competent applied policies are necessary. In Europe and Spain, priority has been given to the importance of spin-offlos entrepreneursopportunity financial partners and others, in the new market niches, as if youth, post-university and visionary concepts formed a whole for which it was necessary to bet without reservations.

They are important, they are possibly scenarios that must be supported. I don’t reject them and something will come out. But public managers and politicians have forgotten the small and medium enterprises that we have been doing industry for years, doing business and invoicing and consolidating jobs. Companies and managers that sometimes have a hard time because they do not have quick help. Because those who should give them lack knowledge. And they don’t know the sectors. And, despite this public shortage, some of us have gotten ahead with good results.

For public managers, these mature companies do not seem to have the brilliance of youth, the smile and occurrence of the creatives on duty. Nor the greatness of the large firms that come from abroad and that are currently laying off thousands of workers. Medium profile companies do not exist, they are forgotten. Companies full of knowledge, of good professionals, of young people incorporated into them who learn from the experience of the elders and develop a real future between them.

Something similar is happening in a controversial and tense society. It is as if all the learning of the elders has been forgotten for the sake of cryptocurrencies, quantum computers, metaverses and other modernisms. And so it goes.

Do you know why? Because not everyone is Steve Jobs. There is another real class of people and companies that should not be forgotten. Steven Paul Jobs was the co-founder and president of Apple, father of the first personal computer built in a garage. A genius.
