Don’t be confused by the elegant European styling of this crossover. Before you is not a Bavarian, but a Chongqing. X5 belongs to the Chinese car brand Oshan. It will go on sale in November.
The Oshan brand is part of the Chinese car manufacturer Changan Auto. The Oshan X5 presentation took place in July this year at the Chengdu Auto Show.
The Chinese X5 looks attractive and stylish on the official images posted on the Web. The exterior features Maserati signatures with tapered head optics, angular grille and elegant curved LED headlights.
In the interior of the crossover there is a digital “tidy”, a large display of the multimedia system, a steering wheel, beveled along a chord, and a two-tone interior trim is also used.
According to the Chinese media, the Oshan X5 will be sold in the “Celestial Empire” with an uncontested 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 180 horsepower at 300 Nm of torque. A 7-band “robot” will make it up. Front-wheel drive only.
Prices for the Chinese Oshan X5 have not yet been announced, but they are expected to start at 80,000 yuan, or 900,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.
