Not anyone is throwing up the latest preview of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2! [VIDEO]

In the short promotional video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, comedian Pete Davidson parodies the latest teaser trailer.

There is growing hype about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the upcoming release of the latest installment of the annual Call of Duty franchise. Last week, Activision he confirmed his plans with a teaser trailerthat will completely unveil Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on June 8th. But it looks like it was just the beginning of Activision’s advertising campaign: they also recently shared a new live-action video in which comedian Pete Davidson parodies the teaser of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

In the video, Pete Davidson sits in the same delivery vehicle that was also used in the unveiling teaser of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Surrounded by 141 members of the Task Force, the most popular characters in previous Modern Warfare games. These include Ghost, Captain Price, Gaz, Soap and the newly arrived Alejandro Vargas. Captain Price says Davidson is there because he vouched for it, but it soon turns out the comedian doesn’t really know what he’s up to.

It immediately becomes clear that Davidson is out of place. He wears a helmet that looks like a flower-decorated bike helmet, as well as a tie tank top. While the others in the vehicle are well-armed to practice safe gun handling, Davidson has a rocket launcher and apparently doesn’t know what to do with it. He also jokes with the other members of Detachment 141 that he brings snacks with him, but refuses to share them. Ghost is particularly dissatisfied with the snacks.

The 40-second video is a fun commercial designed to excite the unveiling of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on June 8, similar to previous Call of Duty live-action videos featuring celebrities. In the original teaser trailer, the Task Force 141 is shown as it prepares for battle and then pulled out of the vehicle with a gun in hand.

It’s funny to think that Pete Davidson might still be sitting in the delivery vehicle, leaving him behind.

In the Pete Davidson video, nothing new can finally be discovered. Call of Duty fans hoping for more information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will have to wait until June 8 for official information.
