Director Omar Lulu says he is not a fan of Mammootty or Mohanlal. Omar says that as a young man he used to watch Mohanlal’s films more and now he is not a fan of any of them.
“Now I am my fan. This is what he said in the interview. This has been posted on many online portals. 20th Century was the movie I watched the most when I was young. Twentieth Century, Natotikat and In Harihar Nagar were then the most watched movies.I saw the pictures of Mammooka once.
At the time, the Mammooka film was more sentimental. So once you see it, you’ll never want to see it again. But at that time Laleton’s films were real entertainment. Laletan did everything, including comedy. But at the time, if someone asked me who my favorite actor was, I’d say Mammooka. I was a well known Mammootty fan in our country.
He was sitting without any other work during the lockdown period. That’s when I honestly thought about everything. I can say that my perspective has completely changed. When I was young, everyone in my family was a Mammootty fan. Now it was understood that it was a question of a spirit of caste. Most of the movies I saw were funny movies like Natotikat. I’m not a fan of Mammootty now, I’m not a fan of Keitan, I’m a fan of me now.” – said Omar Lulu.
