The camera is always with you, at least the small one. Whenever, wherever Dagmar Schnabel is on the go. When she goes for a walk in Würzburg, she meets people on the street and speaks to them on the market square. Or when she’s out in the garden. Filling up bird baths, tending roses. If she photographs a scene, wants to portray someone she meets – then of course she asks first. And first seeks a little conversation. There is an unspoken agreement with the beetles, caterpillars, moths and bumblebees in your garden.
