Suara.com – It’s no longer enough to just wash your hands and use hand sanitizer, Israeli researchers have found that nasal cleaning spray or nose sanitizer claimed to be able to kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus or the corona virus that causes Covid-19.
Currently, node sanitizers have begun to be marketed in several countries to suppress the transmission of Covid-19.
One company that has released a nose sanitizer is a Canadian company, Sanotize, with its product Enovid.
Quoted from Antara, Dr. Gilly Regev, PhD, CEO and founder of Sanotize explained that during laboratory tests, the nasal spray stopped the coronavirus in its tracks within that timeframe.

In research, the medical device has been shown to kill the corona virus within two minutes under laboratory conditions. When tested on Covid-19 patients, it was confirmed that the “viral load” was reduced in the body by 95 percent within 24 hours and 99 percent within 72 hours.
“Our solution can kill the Covid-19 virus in two minutes,” said Dr. Gilly Regev in a press release on Monday (3/1/2022).
The nose sanitizer is claimed to be effective in reducing the number of other variants of the COVID-19 virus and clinical trials are ongoing to prove the level of efficacy for the new variants.
Nose sanitizer works by cleaning the nose from mucus, dirt, and dust. It is said that clearing the nose of dirt, mucus and dust will improve the work of the mucociliary system in the nose and increase nasal defenses.
This medical device can be used up to five times a day by people who have been in close contact with Covid-19 patients.
Earlier this year, Enovid was granted a permit for use as a medical device by the Israeli Ministry of Health and started a local production line. Use of Enovid is approved for people aged 12 and over
