The transfer target for rsenal and Aston Villa, Emi Buendia, says he “dreams of being at the highest level” and in the “best teams in England, Spain or Europe.”
The attacking midfielder just finished a good season at Norwich, where he helped Canarias win the Championship.
Buendía won the Player of the Season Championship honors and has been rewarded with a call-up to the Argentina squad.
The 24-year-old is also attracting interest from clubs across Europe, with Arsenal and Aston Villa leading the way.
Arsenal have a long-standing interest in Buendía and have scrutinized it extensively over the past 18 months.

Aston Villa are also a fan of the playmaker, who scored 15 Championship goals this season from midfield.
Norwich values Buendia at around £ 40 million and won’t let him leave Carrow Road easily.
Buendía, for his part, is not currently forcing a movement, but has confessed that he dreams big for the future.
“You always dream of being at the highest level and in the best teams in England, Spain or Europe,” he told AS.
“One dreams of playing for titles, it is an ambition that I have, it is a pride that important clubs are interested in you, it means that you are doing things well and it is a motivation to continue working and one day achieve it.
“Since I was a child, I have been passionate about soccer and you grow with the players you see. Not only in the position that I would like to play, as I still do today.

“I look a lot in England at Kevin De Bruyne or Bruno Fernandes, who are decisive in their teams and among the best in the world, there is no maximum age to continue learning from the best.”
Buendía can play anywhere behind the striker, but speaking of his best position he said: “My position was always the ’10’, the hook, between the middle and the forward.
“I was always a passer, but in a professional way I played more outside and always with the freedom to associate.
“But where I feel most comfortable is in the middle, where I can touch the ball more and associate with my teammates.”
