Norwegians might have been strike by terror in Mogadishu
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms to NRK that it has acquired stories that one or additional Norwegians may perhaps have been strike by the attack on the Hayat resort in the Somali cash Mogadishu.
The resort was attacked on Saturday evening by the Islamist group Al-Shabab. It took more than 30 hrs for the Somali police and military to choose command of the scenario.
– We are conscious that a single or a lot more Norwegian citizens may well be interested. We are now doing work to investigate and confirm it by way of effectively-regarded diplomatic channels.
This is what Foreign Ministry Communications Adviser Ragnhild Håland Simenstad tells NRK.
– We are horrified by the brutal terrorist attack in the cash.
So much 21 men and women have been confirmed killed. It is not recognized regardless of whether any of these are Norwegian citizens.
