On Instagram’s story function on Monday, the 18-year-old shared a photo of himself from the polling station together with the ballot papers.

“I’m an adult,” Behn wrote along with the photo. This is the very first time Behn has had the opportunity to cast a vote in an election.
– The paranoia got pretty bad
The fact that the princess’s daughter has chosen to vote, on the other hand, is very unusual for someone in the royal family. Last week, communications manager at the Palace, Guri Varpe, confirmed that the royal family does not vote in elections.
– It is a tradition that the royals choose not to cast their vote in elections, she told Dagbladet.

Behn, on the other hand, has no official role in the Norwegian royal house.

– There is therefore really nothing in the way of her voting. Rather the opposite, I think. It is very good that she, as a role model for many young people, shows the importance of using their right to vote!
Behn is the daughter of Princess Märtha Louise (51) and the late Ari Behn.
