Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands are meddling more and more in the conflict in Ukraine, says Russia and refers to the promise to give the Ukrainians F-16 aircraft.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson used the promise of fighter jet donation as an example of increasing Western interference in the war. Other countries and military contributions are also highlighted by Maria Zakharova.
– The Czech army plans to send Russian-built Mi-24b helicopters to Kyiv after receiving US helicopters themselves. Last week, after Zelenskyi’s begging trip to European countries – including the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Sweden – there was news that they will provide F-16 aircraft, says Zakharova in a statement to the state news agency Tass.
– All these steps confirm the hostile attitude of the Western countries towards Russia and their growing interference in the conflict over Ukraine, she adds.
She also claims that “the neo-Nazi regime”, which Russia calls Ukraine’s leadership, is attacking civilian targets in Russia to distract “the Western sponsors from the problems Ukraine has at the front”.
