Norwegian Player Wins National Million Prize in Eurojackpot – December 12, 2023

Nobody in this country took the big pots on Tuesday 12 December. Two German and one Dutch player shared the second prize and were paid NOK 4,959,115 each.

A Norwegian player nevertheless became NOK 1 million richer when he won the national prize.

Every Tuesday and Friday, a separate prize of NOK 1 million is awarded to a Norwegian player or cooperative. On Tuesday 12 December, the national million went to a man from Giske in Møre og Romsdal.

Friday’s pots

On Friday 15 December, it is ready for a new Eurojackpot draw. The first prize pool remains on ca. DKK 694 millionwhile the second prize pool will be approx. 22 million kroner.

To win first prize in the Eurojackpot, you must have 5 correct numbers out of 50 possible, in addition to 2 correct star numbers out of 12 possible. This gives a total of approx. 140 million possible combinations per row, and the chance of winning is then approx. 1:140 million per row. For second prize, the chance of winning is approx. 1:7 million per row, while the national prize (NOK 1 million) is approx. 1:number of rows.
