Norwegian girl to Sweden’s slopes: “Never heard of them”

The many injuries in the Swedish team have meant that national team captain Janne Andersson has had to bring in more untested national team names.

Edvin Kurtulus, Hjalmar Ekdal and Sotirios Papagiannopoulos are currently included in the Swedish starting eleven in the return match against Norway on Sunday.

Midfielder Sander Berge is not impressed with the names.

– I have never heard of them, he says according to VG.

But Berge does not want to saw them too hard before meeting them.

– I know that Sweden has many good defenders, so I reckon that they are also good football players. As a collective, they are very good, so we have to be on top, he says.

The match at Ullevål is sold out and the Norwegians will go in to win, just like in Solna.

– We enter the match with a good feeling. We beat them away. We know it will be another tough match, says Berge.
