Norwegian football behind the scenes: Sahraoui is on the verge of a move to a major French club

Molde have made a bid for a Danish striker

The pursuit of attackers has been challenging for Molde this summer. On Tuesday, Nettavisen revealed that Molde has been working to get into a negotiating position with Rosenborg in an attempt to buy Ole Sæter. However, it will be a difficult task and RBK said on Wednesday that they do not want to sell him to their biggest rival.

So Molde has been working at the same time with other striker options, and now Nettavisen can learn that this seems to have paid off.

According to the information, Molde has submitted an offer and is close to being approved by Landskrona BoIS on a deal for Danish striker Frederik Ihler. The 21-year-old striker has scored seven goals in 14 games in Sweden’s second tier this season for the top-flight side. He joined the club last summer from AGF Aarhus.

An offer of around NOK eight million must be on the table and the clubs must have a good discussion about reaching an agreement.

– I have no idea about this matter, says Landskrona sports manager Billy Magnusson to Nettavisen.

However, there can be no agreement on personal terms and this must be in place before Ihler can set a course for Molde.

Landskrona recently sold Samuel Burakovsky to Bodø/Glimt. Now another attacker from the Swedish club could be on his way to Norway if the final details fall into place.

For Molde’s part, there has been talk that they could be interested in two attackers this summer given their injury problems at the top.

Heerenveen and Lille only have Osame Sahraoui

Already in January, Nettavisen could publish French Lille’s strong interest in Osame Sahraoui. A move never materialized last winter, but the interest has continued and this summer the clubs have been in talks again.

Nettavisen has now been told that a move should be imminent and that the clubs have agreed on the most important framework of the deal. According to the information, the transfer fee will initially exceed NOK 90 million. In addition, there will be a number of bonuses, including additional Champions League matches, which could make the sum significantly larger.

Sahraoui is already in place in France to complete a transfer soon, Nettavisen is told.

The medical exam is scheduled within a short time and if everything goes as it should, Sahraoui will then sign a long-term contract with Lille.

Vålerenga sold Sahraoui for approximately NOK 20 million in 2023. The Oslo club has a 15% resale percentage on the profit from the next sale.

In France, Sahraoui will be a teammate of Andrej Ilic, who was sold from Vålerenga to Lille this winter.

Priske misses out for Norwegian clubs

Dance Both Tromsø and Viking want August Priske. The former club reached an agreement with FC Midtjylland on an agreement, but they could never convince the player himself to go north and sign for TIL.

The Vikings, for his part, did not come to an agreement with Midtjylland on the financial framework of an agreement, even if the player himself was positive about a move to Stavanger.

On Wednesday, instead, the Swedish Djurgården came on the field and reached an agreement with both the Danish club and the player, so that Priske is now on his way to Swedish football.

For Tromsø’s part, they continue to search for a new striker. According to Nettavisen, they are in talks with another Danish striker with whom they hope to reach an agreement soon. It will be about a young striker who has scored a lot of goals at level u and level two in Denmark. There, the player himself must be more optimistic about coming to Tromsø.
