A Norwegian man and several others appeared in court in London on Wednesday, accused of grievous bodily harm. Among other things, the group is said to have made castration films.
The man in his 40s, who is known as the “eunuch maker”, is part of a group accused of carrying out a series of extreme rituals, including castration and freezing limbs.
This must have been filmed before the videos were sold online, according to the police.
In Wednesday’s court hearing, the Norwegian pleaded not guilty to charges of grievous bodily harm against three men between 2018 and 2019, but he has admitted to having made and distributed inappropriate videos of a child.
The police believe the Norwegian was the leader of a group of men who filmed and uploaded the extreme videos. These were then seen by paying subscribers.
The group is said to have been popular in a subculture where men voluntarily have their penis and testicles amputated, known in English as “nullos”.
Another man in the group pleaded guilty on Wednesday to grievous bodily harm after freezing one of the Norwegian’s legs, which later had to be amputated. Two others admitted in April to having removed the Norwegian’s penis and nipple.
The case is expected to go to court in March.
