Money for the Nielsen Hauge celebration
The Ministry of Culture allocates half a million kroner for the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the revival preacher Hans Nielsen Hauge. Minister of Culture Abid Q. Raja points out that the preacher was an impressive pioneer for religious diversity, freedom of association, gender equality and private business in Norway. Hans Nielsen Hauge died in 1824.
