The 25 people who several weeks ago refused to be vaccinated at Easter, out of a total number of 1,075 people, make up 2.3%. 97.7% agreed to be vaccinated at Easter!
Opinions This is a debate post. The post expresses the writer’s attitudes.
This post is a comment to Gunnar Stavrum’s leader about the allegations that Bærum municipality had to cancel coronary vaccination at Easter because many of the patients would rather go to the cabin.
According to what Bærum’s vaccine coordinator, Vågårøy, has stated to Budstikka: “That there are 25 people who declined their vaccine doses, when they understood that dose two would come during the Easter holidays.” In this connection, it is worth noting that the 25 people, according to the coordinator, all canceled their classes several weeks ago – according to her: “These canceled their classes four weeks ago, after that no one has canceled the vaccine.”

I believe that the people of Bærum actually deserve praise for the loyalty they really show to the vaccine program!
Personally, I do not disregard the fact that the real reason why the vaccination with dose 2 was canceled, is not due to cancellations from the inhabitants of the municipality. But perhaps on the other hand, those who work at the vaccine center should get time off at Easter!
Now it’s not that I do not think that the employees at the vaccine center may need to take time off at Easter. But then information from the municipality about it, in my opinion, should have been given “for a long time”, to those of us who were to be given a dose two during the holidays at Easter! (Personally, I should have been given dose 2 on Good Friday, but did not know anything about the cancellation until I to my great surprise read about it in Budstikka yesterday, Sunday. On my own initiative, I then contacted the municipality, to get a new dose 2-hour !).

Had vaccine coordinator Vågårøy in Bærum municipality said what at least I think the reason was – that the reason for canceling the vaccination during the holidays at Easter, was because they wanted to give the employees at the vaccine center free, and not as I see it, in the first place maybe used us dose 2 pensioners as an excuse, for a last minute decision to cancel vaccination during the Easter holidays – then we had residents in Bærum then hopefully avoided being hung out as spoiled cottage / Easter bears all over the country.
In conclusion, however, I just want to mention for the record that I was personally impressed with the professionalism I experienced at the vaccine center of the municipality at Rud in Bærum, when I was given my first dose!
