Norwegian Comedian Viggo Venn Takes Great Britain by Storm on “Britain’s Got Talent”

The relatively unknown Norwegian comedian Viggo Venn is about to have a storming career in Great Britain. The Norwegian from Kongsberg, who lives in London, went on from the first audition in “Britain’s Got Talent” a few weeks ago.

At that time it was still with a cry of distress. Veteran judge Simon Cowell attempted to send Venn home from the first round, by pressing the red button. The Norwegian still went through to the semi-finals, at the request of the other three judges.

On Tuesday evening, Cowell was also convinced by the Norwegian, although he also made a small, humorous jab.

– The most annoying of the whole evening, added a smiling Cowell, before he admitted later in the program that the Norwegian was his favorite on Tuesday.

Of the evening’s eight performances, Venn received the most audience votes, and he thus went straight through to the final, which will be broadcast on Sunday.

The performance Venn went to the final with was as simple and absurd as it was brilliant.

In turn, he got the famous panel of judges, led by Simon Cowell, to read out his name, before immediately parodying each one of them aptly. All with Eminem’s “My Name Is” on repeat in the background. It may sound simple and incredibly strange in theory, but both judges and the audience were charmed by the Norwegian’s energy and ability to take the judges on their heels.

– I can not believe it! shouted the Norwegian shortly after the decision was clear.

– I feel like I did my “vest”, he elaborated later, wearing his characteristic yellow vest from his audition performance.

– The whole country has gone crazy for Viggo, shouted judge Bruno Tonioli when Venn had finished his performance, before leading a benevolent audience to cheers of “Viggo, Viggo, Viggo!”.

The last judge, Amanda Holden, was unable to do so in the tight timetable, but she too singled out Venn as a favorite just before the evening’s winners were read out.
