Norwegian citizen who died in Gran Canaria

An elderly woman was said to have been found lifeless in the water, according to Canariavisen.

A Norwegian citizen died in Puerto Rico on Christmas Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms to VG.

– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aware that a Norwegian citizen died in Gran Canaria on December 25, says the press officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mariken Bruusgaard Harbitz.

Canariavisen first reported on the case. According to the newspaper, it is an elderly woman. She was rescued lifeless from the water and life-saving first aid was attempted at the scene, but her life was not saved.
