Norwegian citizen charged by PST

The man will be produced for custody in Oslo District Court at 3 pm on Monday. It informs PST.

The indictment deals with sections 123 and 124 of the Criminal Code, which deal with the disclosure and gross disclosure of state secrets.

If the situation is to be considered serious, the perpetrator must either be a member of the government, the Storting or the Supreme Court or belong to the country’s top civilian or military leadership, the secret must be entrusted to the perpetrator in service or work, the secret must be revealed to a foreign state or terrorist organization, or the secret must have caused significant damage.

The accused is a Norwegian man in his 50s who was born abroad. He has been appointed Marianne Darre-Næss as defender. She has not yet responded to TV 2’s inquiries.
