The victim was Lars Thorsen, reports the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, the leader of the extremist group SIAN, which stands for Stop the Islamization of Norway. He is notorious in Norway for his provocative actions such as Koran burnings.
Detained
Police have arrested the woman who drove him off the road on the highway on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm.
