Norway has provided 2,000 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine
Norway has provided another 2,000 anti-tank weapons (M72) to Ukraine.
This is in addition to protective equipment and about 2000 armored weapons that were sent to Ukraine earlier.
The weapons have been donated to Ukraine to help them defend themselves against Russia’s invasion, the Ministry of Defense writes in a press release.
– Ukraine depends on arms support from other countries to continue opposition to Russia’s attacks in violation of international law. If Ukraine succeeds in repelling Russia’s attack, it will both ensure Ukrainian sovereignty and help maintain the norm of peaceful conflict resolution and respect for national borders in Europe, says Defense Minister Odd Roger Enoksen.
